Job Title: Civil Investigator Location: Trenton, NJ 08625 Pay Rate: $35.00/Hour. without benefits Job Duration: 09+ months Work Hours : General Shift Timing Job Description: Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience bachelor's degree (Accredited College/Univ) Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement: Two years of office and/or field experience conducting investigations, collecting evidence, and preparing investigative reports related to civil, or regulatory matters involving fraud, misrepresentation, or other acts of civil misconduct. Including: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to compile, organize, review, and interpret data and material; prepare correspondence; communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Job Description: Investigate discrimination and sexual harassment complaints. Conduct interviews of complainants, witnesses, respondents, drafting summaries of interviews. Prepare investigation plans and prepare final investigation reports. Assist in developing and providing trainings on matters related to discrimination and harassment in the workplace. Draft formal letters related to the investigation. Review and monitor employment practices and procedures to ensure compliance with State and Federal anti-discrimination laws and EEO/AA policies and procedures. Monitor and manage office email inbox. Assist in tracking and maintaining records of discrimination and sexual harassment complaints. Prepare necessary correspondence; performing other duties as required.
