Cognizant engineering is looking to hire a motivated and skilled React JS Developer, We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 10 years of experience in React JS PostgreSQL Vue JS and Advanced JavaScript. Job Location: Durham , NC.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• • Develop and maintain web applications using React JS and Vue JS to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
  • Design and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL to support application functionality.
  • Write clean efficient and well-documented code in Advanced JavaScript to enhance application features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features that align with business goals.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes.
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and development.
  • Ensure that all applications are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (alpha/beta/production).
  • Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and updates.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with advancements in the field.

Key Qualifications:

• • Must have 5 to 8 years of experience in React JS PostgreSQL Vue JS and Advanced JavaScript.
  • Should have a strong background in the Education domain with experience in developing educational applications.
  • Must possess excellent English language skills both written and verbal.
  • Should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications in a hybrid work model.
  • Must be proficient in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues.
  • Should have experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Should have a strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Must be committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Should have experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.
  • Must be able to produce technical documentation to support application maintenance.
  • Should be able to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a strong focus on delivering high-quality work.
