Job Description


Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Location: Norfolk, VA

SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Logistics Analyst, Lead to support a dynamic team by providing an analytical approach to logistical functions.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Under minimal supervision; track numerous project requirements, collect/track data, and thrives in a fast-pace environment.
  • Will work directly with various areas to; analyze drawings, quote material, and track material/shipments.
  • Coordinates and performs logistics activities related to the physical delivery of enterprise-wide logistics support.
  • Helps plan builds and determine material requirements for builds; either procures or communicates procurement requirements to appropriate person(s).
  • Estimates and proactively manages project-related workload requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains hard copy and electronic property record files and production status database records.
  • Develops an understanding of customer's logistics requirements and takes action to ensure customer's needs are met.
  • Complies with Government Property guidelines and follows related Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures.
  • May assist in the selection, training, and development of staff.
  • May lead and direct tasks assigned to junior personnel.



Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar field.
  • Six (6) + years of experience in logistical functions.
  • Five (5) + years of ordering material through technical drawing packages.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop alternative plans to ensure satisfactory delivery of supplies, material, and equipment in accordance with contract terms.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) inventory management systems and techniques.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
