SUMMARY The Director of Marketing and Client Experience will be responsible for the development and execution of the client engagement strategies, digital experience, and marketing strategy for the Bank. This position will have responsibility to enhance overall customer engagement and will lead a cross-functional team, to include marketing, internal and external communications, product, pricing, and digital delivery. This leader is accountable for delivering innovative, competitive and relevant solutions and tools to serve our quickly evolving client's needs. Additionally, this leader will deliver robust marketing and public relations campaigns, with results measured by metrics including return on investment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs and oversees all marketing and communications (paid, owned, earned, and shared media) including advertising, digital marketing/delivery and social media, direct marketing, media and public relations, investor relations, client/external employee/internal communications, and strategic offerings. Leads and aligns Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Strategy, and Communications efforts to generate fresh, bold ideas that blend with the Bank's core values and objectives. Leads the development of breakthrough marketing campaigns that push boundaries and capture the attention of the target audience in new and imaginative ways that drive branch differential, elevate customer engagement, and position the bank as an industry innovator. Develops and executes transformation strategies focusing on the customer experience, operational efficiencies, and technological innovation. Drives with metrics the integration of digital channels, such as mobile banking, online platforms, and AI driven solutions to enhance the client journey. Stays abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure the Bank remains a leader in digital client services. Develops strategy around community sponsorships throughout the Bank's footprint to align with bank desired outcomes. Enhances the Bank's strategy to retain existing clients, attract new clients, and reimagine engagement. Delivers innovative, competitive, and relevant solutions and tools to serve our quickly evolving client's needs. Leads large-scale transformational efforts. Delivers robust marketing and public relations campaigns, with measurable results. Leads and partners with others to strategically develop marketing plans maintain knowledge of business development team's priorities as they relate to marketing needs. Communicates the company vision and mission, works with the marketing team to amplify and communicate effectively under this direction.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Hires, supervises, evaluates, mentors, and develops team. Performs personnel actions to include performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates for employment. Supervises the daily activities of the team to include delegation of assignments, development of work schedules to meet required timelines, and ensures training is completed.

Ability to think strategically and solve complex challenges with effective, measurable results. Deep understanding of how to blend customer needs with cutting edge technology. Exceptional skills in creating trust and rapport quickly with diverse individuals. Skilled decision-maker, with transparency in decision-making and management. Excellent time management skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize critical assignments and coordinate numerous projects simultaneously while working under tight deadlines. Ability to stay calm and think critically, even when the situation is with high stakes. Demonstrated experience managing budgets, including contract negotiation with and management of vendors. Demonstrated success in aligning/maximizing resources to deliver impactful results. Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, and has a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to communicate to diverse populations from a cultural and linguistic context. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as budgets, discounts, interest, commission, proportions, and percentages with the ability to apply the concepts. Ability to interpret financial information as it pertains to the management of the Bank. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Technology, or a related field required Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred 10+ years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required 5-7 years leadership experience in roles such as Director or VP of Marketing to include supervisory experience and interfacing with Executives and Board of Directors required Financial Services experience required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The anticipated pay range for this position is $178,200 to $293,920 per year (in CO & WA) and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Additionally, this role is eligible to receive annual discretionary cash and stock bonuses. Benefits available for this position include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability benefits and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, employee assistance program, 401(k), Paid Time Off (new hires accrue at .069 per hours worked which equates to approximately 18 days per year inclusive of paid sick time) and up to 11 paid Federal holidays.
