Position Title: Retail Clerk
Wage: $16.50/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Must Be available all 7 days Start times vary between 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM Love cheese and great customer service? Join this friendly team! Retail Clerk Responsibilities: - Operating the cash register by handling various payment methods such as cash, checks, cards, etc - Stocking shelves, racks, cases, bins, tables with new or transferred merchandise - Answer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection - Packaging orders- stamp, attach, or change price tags on merchandise and orders being displayed in store - Making gift baskets - Keep store clean and presentable to customers - Stocking shelves, racks, cases, bins, tables with new or transferred merchandise - Cutting, separating cheese, sorting bulk cheese curds and assist in making pizzas - Keep work station clean and presentable - Utilizing scales, knives, cutters to complete each order or tasks - Work with various wrappers and packing materials to package the cheese and pizzas Requirements for Retail Clerk: - Ability to stand the entire shift 8-10 hours a day - Lift up to 50lbs rarely from the ground and 20lbs occasionally - Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, pull frequently - High school diploma or equivalent required - Able to speak to customers and listen to their complaints, requests, and orders - Outstanding attendance record and team focus to meet and exceed customer expectations - Quality focused- able to follow all personal and food safety requirements QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
