Learn more at HonorHealth.com. Responsibilities Job Summary The PARALEGAL performs paralegal duties at the direction of an attorney in the Office of the General Counsel. Assumes a primary role in the coordination of legal matters pertaining to the healthcare system. May interact with outside legal counsel representing the healthcare system in various legal matters. May prepare responses to interrogatories and other discovery requests; draft, review, revise correspondence; interact with other departments; conduct legal and non-legal research and provide analysis of results. May draft, review, revise, and negotiate contract agreements for products and services. May perform department administrative/operational functions, coordinate/attend meetings, and maintain records. Essential Functions
Qualifications Education Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies, Justice Studies, Criminology, Legal Studies, or similar OR 10 years' experience as a paralegal in lieu of education Required Experience 5 years as Paralegal in-house, government, or corporate law Required |
