We have an exciting and rewarding employment opportunity for an HR Generalist at our Green Bank, WV facility, the Green Bank Observatory (GBO), to provide internal support and partnership to GBO managers and employees to deliver a full range of human resources support. This Generalist will serve as an administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management programs, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, performance management, training and development, employee engagement, leave management, and employee records. The position will assess HR and organizational policies, programs, and procedures, and inform employee and management on their interpretation, ensuring compliance with labor law and regulatory compliance. Finally, the Generalist will coordinate with the National Radio Astronomy HR team members to process and maintain employment, benefits, and other records, as well as serve as a resource to the payroll division.
