Job Description

    Develops strategic initiatives and coordinates projects to maximize benefits and minimize impacts on the customer organizations; provides leadership in planning and implementation of projects for computer operations and enterprise systems administration.
  • Manages overall operations; monitors system performance and configuration; conducts maintenance and repair; ensures records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained and applies revisions to host system firmware and software.
  • Plans and executes the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of server hardware, software, networks, and management systems; defines system and operational policies and procedures.
  • Develops new system and application implementation plans, custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability; trains technical staff in the use of developed or acquired software and hardware and mentors System Administrators.
  • Troubleshoots and leads problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel.


Job Requirements

Associate's degree in the following field(s) of study: Information Technology or relevant field and four years work experience in systems design, programming and systems software and support are required.

Bachelor's degree in the following field(s) of study: Information Technology or related field is preferred.

Advanced knowledge of systems and advanced level troubleshooting skills are required.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365, PowerShell, DNS/DHCP, Active Directory, VMware, and Storage technologies is preferred.

Experience can substitute for education.
