Overview
The Traffic Operations team of the Agency of Transportation is looking for an organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Administrative Services Manager I. This role involves serving as the Program Administrator for the Official Business Directional Sign (OBDS) program, administrative coordinator for the Travel Information Council (TIC), and providing guidance and expertise on Vermont's sign law for both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, this position may be called upon to provide administrative support within the Operations and Safety Bureau. The ideal candidate will possess strong organization, communication and analytical skills, along with the ability to work independently. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a significant program that supports businesses statewide while ensuring compliance with Vermont's sign law. Key responsibilities include:

Work is performed in a standard office setting. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND two (2) years of experience providing professional administrative-level services to a business or organization which included an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff. OR Bachelor's degree AND four (4) years of experience providing professional administrative-level services to a business or organization which included an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff. OR One (1) year as an Administrative Services Coordinator IV with the State of Vermont. NOTE: Additional professional administrative-level experience or higher will substitute for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Special Requirements
For some positions experience working with the VISION system (VISION is the State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system) may be required. Total Compensation
