Position Title: Production Supervisor
Wage: $24-$30/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-4:30pm We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Production Supervisor. A key responsibility of this position is training employees. This is an active position in a manufacturing facility in Darien, WI. Join a team that is committed to quality and takes pride in a job well done. Production Supervisor Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Supervise and manage day-to-day press operations, ensuring that the production team meets safety, quality, and efficiency standards - Provide leadership to the production team, fostering a positive and productive work environment - Ensure all press equipment is properly set up, maintained, and operates at peak efficiency - Schedule and oversee production runs, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards - Train new and existing employees on press operations, welding techniques, safety protocols, and quality control procedures - Enforce company safety standards, ensuring all employees adhere to safety protocols on the production floor - Identify and resolve issues with press machinery, ensuring that minimal downtime occurs and repairs are handled quickly - Conduct regular inspections of the production process to ensure consistency and quality control - Review production reports and data, using this information to improve workflow and resolve any challenges related to production - Monitor inventory of raw materials and finished products, working with the warehouse team to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment - Address employee performance or behavior concerns as they arise, providing support or discipline as necessary - Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and improving product quality - Collaborate with engineering and other departments to resolve production issues and improve overall processes Production Supervisor Requirements: - Extensive knowledge and understanding of welding, mechanical assembly, and warehousing - Strong organizational skills - A proven ability to effectively manage and supervise employees - Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills - Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills Benefits: Dental insurance, Health insurance, Health savings account, Life insurance, Paid time off, Professional development assistance, Retirement plan, and Tuition reimbursement QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
