The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Senior Regional Philanthropy Officer / Foundation Partnerships to support our Greater New York Region (NYC and the surrounding communities). WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: We are looking for an experienced fundraising professional to join the Individual and Foundational team as a Senior Philanthropy Officer, Foundation Partnerships. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in successful private foundation fundraising and/ or grants management, with a demonstrated track record of securing private institutional gifts or grants at or exceeding six and seven figures. In this role, you will identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective regional donors in expanding their financial support of the work of the American Red Cross. This position is a blend of work-from-home, in-person meetings with donors, and an occasional team meeting in a local office. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD:

COMPENSATION INFORMATION: The salary range for this position is $105,000 -$115,000 annual plus the opportunity to participate in an incentive plan. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role. WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE: Strong working knowledge of private foundation community in New York City and surrounding region, with experience securing and managing up to seven figure foundation grants.
