Job description: This position will provide financial management, oversight, analysis, and guidance to one or more departments in the ALRT Center. The ALRT Center supports Anesthesia, Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, Radiology, and Radiation Oncology and is located on the East Bank of the Twin Cities Campus.. Job duties include: review and approval of expenses, managing payroll allocations, advising faculty and staff on policy and processes, creating reports, reconciling and forecasting financials, resolving discrepancies, analysis including identifying financial opportunities or areas of concern, presenting reports and analysis to stakeholders, and working with stakeholders to take advantage of opportunities or resolve issues. The position requires in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to interpret contracts and policies. This position has the ability to work remote, hybrid, or fully in-person. No employee is considered 100% remote and this position may be required to attend in-person trainings, meetings, etc. The Department retains the right to modify flexible work arrangements on a temporary or permanent basis for any reason at any time.
