Location:Gulf Coast Medical Center -13681 Doctor's WayFort Myers FL 33912 Department: Trauma Surgeons Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/ 8:00AM-4:30PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$27.57 - $35.84 / hour SummaryCoordinates day-to-day operations of the Trauma Survivor Network (TSN) program. Serves as a point of contact for program participants, office and clinical support personnel. Implements components of the TSN program such as facilitating educational and support groups, coordinating outreach, educational efforts, and educating hospital staff about the program. Serves as an advocate for patients/families with other agencies and links them with appropriate community and/or medical resources. Trains and manages TSN Volunteers as peer mentors and ambassadors and community educators. Provide monthly reporting for social and emotional support programming to the trauma department leadership. Works closely with the physicians and their staff to help meet the needs of patients served through the Gulf Coast Medical Center Trauma Services and is viewed as an integral member of the healthcare team. Reports to the Trauma department Director with collaborative activities and support oversight of the Trauma Program Manager. RequirementsEducation: Bachelors in Social Work required. Masters in Social Work, Counseling, or Nursing from an accredited school preferred. Experience: A minimum of 1 year Social Work or other related experience required. License: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or RN (Registered Nurse) in the state of Florida preferred. Certification: Not required Other: MSW-Interns will be considered for hire, and compensation will align with the current credentials. US:FL:Fort Myers |
