This is a full-time, office based position in Daytona Beach, FL

If you join us, you will work with some of the worlds leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development: establishing the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of a new drug.

We are currently seeking a Shipping Lab Coordinator to ensure samples are processed, stored, and shipped according to protocol requirements.

KEY RESPONIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, label, store, pack, and dispatch samples to external laboratories in accordance with
  • applicable regulations.
  • Apply correct shipping procedures according to international regulations for biohazardous and
  • dangerous goods.
  • Complete all related documentation. Tracks and documents PK sample shipments.
  • Formulate specimen codes from protocol and print labels.
  • Obtains body substances for testing in the approved manner. These substances may include blood, saliva, sputum, urine, and stool.
  • Uses universal precautions when handling specimens.And all other duties as needed or assigned.

This does include a rotating shift; including weekends / holidays as required.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL BRING:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Three years of laboratory experience
