Job Summary

Coordinate and organize all information and data obtained from the VDC department and Field project teams in order to create work packages for the manufacturing environment to fabricate efficiently and effectively. Create the assembly documents required to accurately fabricate on the shop floor and create the field documents required to install fabricated products on the job site. Break down large Revit models into a workable and shippable piece of prefabrication based on project schedules

Essential Duties

    Create fabrication packages and assemblies for all model driven fabrication between VDC and Field. Progress fabrication packages for proccessing in order of priority.
  • Conduct review meetings with field teams verifying Work Package contents and Assembly batches.
  • Review modeled fabrication parts for accuracy, functionality, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure work packages details are sized for effeciency and workflow on the manufacturing shop floor
  • Generate and manage document control of fabrication details, Spool Maps, and Package location drawings using Stratus software.
  • Provide onsite support for field or shop personnel, when needed, and interface with other team leaders, the group manager, project managers, shop floor managers, and field supervisors.
  • Communicate any part related issues to the Database Manager on a timely basis
  • Perform other duties as required.


Minimum Requirements

  • Should have basic understating of current design software, such as Autodesk.
  • Working knowledge of drawing production and standard construction techniques and principles
  • Time management skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Must be proficient in CAMduct Software (Sheet Metal Only)
