Responsibilities

This Position is responsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Tasks may include appoint scheduling, answering, and returning patient calls, and coordinating daily office activities. This position conveys a positive image of the office and provides information as needed to ensure patients are aware of all benefits of the office.

As you would expect, this position is key to great patient care in our clinics.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

    Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting.
  1. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current.
  2. Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required.
  3. 1 year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting, preferred
