Position Title: Staff Accountant
Salary: Based on Experience A Staff Accountant job in Milwaukee, WI is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This onsite role requires candidates to have 1+ years of accounting experience. Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred. In this position, you will reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements and reports, conduct month-end close, and prepare journal entries. This position will also oversee expense reports, assist with audits, and support AR and AP teams. This is a full-time direct hire role that offers an eight-hour workday M-F and attractive benefits package. Staff Accountant Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Reconcile accounts. - Prepare financial statements. - Conduct month-end close responsibilities and prepare journal entries. - Prepare fixed assets and inventory reports. - Oversee expense reports and sales and use tax. - Assist with financial audits. - Support AR and AP teams as needed. Staff Accountant Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. - 1+ years of Accounting experience. Experience within the manufacturing industry preferred. - Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite. - Working knowledge of Accounting and ERP software.
