School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Division of Physical Therapy College of Medicine Position OverviewThe Ohio State Universitys School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track faculty member within our Division of Physical Therapy at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank. We are seeking faculty who will teach within the DPT and PhD programs in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences consistent with expertise, mentor students in each program, develop and sustain an extramurally funded and productive scholarship program through publications and presentations, and contribute to service needs of the School, College, University and appropriate professional organizations. We are particularly interested in faculty with scholarly interests and teaching expertise in neurologic physical therapy or related areas of neuroscience that complement existing strengths in the School and at the OSU Wexner Medical Center.
Required: Current Physical Therapy License, eligible for an unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Ohio; PhD or equivalent in a related field; strong evidence of or potential to develop an extramurally funded and productive scholarship program in a physical therapy or a related field; evidence of strong teaching ability; ability to mentor professional and graduate students.
