Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Application Security Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting application security requirements and onboarding guidance to be leveraged by application teams. They will also serve as the main point of contact for application teams when questions arise during regular operation of security tools and assist in the development of prioritized remediation plans for identified application issues.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Document and maintain application security requirements and onboarding guidance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for application teams regarding security tools and practices.
  • Assist in the development of remediation plans for identified application security issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for improving application security.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents related to applications.
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in application security or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of application security principles and practices.
  • Experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, and SCA.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP - Preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) - Preferred.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and Power BI - Preferred.
  • Familiarity with Checkmarx One or Invicti - Preferred.
