Clinical Dietitian - Torrance State Hospital

In this role, you will complete nutritional assessments for the consumers of a State Mental Hospital. In addition, you will provide counseling to the consumers on nutritional needs. Notating information in the consumer's chart will be essential for admission and discharge from the hospital. You will be required to participate in treatment team meetings to develop nutritional care for the consumer., as well as to develop and evaluate educational materials for use in programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Work hours may change based on operational needs
• Travel and overtime as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirement:

• This position requires Certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
