PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Schedules and performs vehicle and equipment repairs in response to requests f rom staf f and location ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Schedules maintenance and repairs of vehicles and equipment as requested. Maintains an appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance. Maintains service records of each piece of equipment and vehicle to document a quality maintenance Responsible for the housekeeping of the shop. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS May be required to provide backup to drivers in the Energy and Crops Departments. Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof , and 5 years or more of related work Required skills include fabrication, cutting, welding, bearing replacement, engine Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisf actory driving record. Normally requires an acceptable CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements. Frequently exposed or required to: Ability to work extended hours. Ability to travel independently and overnight.
