Learn more at www.pavion.com Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Technician to join our fire business unit. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems Install, configure, and program security systems which includes intrusion detection systems (alarms), access control systems (card readers, locks), CCTV systems (cameras, recording devices), and fire alarm systems Conduct preventative maintenance; regularly inspect, test, and maintain security systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems; diagnose and resolve technical problems with security equipment and systems Upgrade and modernize existing systems; implement new technologies and features to enhance security and improve system performance Basic Qualifications: High school diploma 7+ years of proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management Customer service orientation; focus on customer satisfaction and building strong relationships Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications: Technical certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., NICET, PSA) are highly valued and DCJS is highly preferred Disclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
