The University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) is seeking a Manager Engineering. This position will report to the Sr. Dir. Facility Operations and will be responsible for monitoring the performance of equipment critical to the efficient and operation of the reactor, isotope production and research activities at the Missouri University Research Reactor (MURR). This includes the development and maintenance of an exceptionally qualified and skilled group of engineers that will monitor equipment performance and develop maintenance strategies that will ensure a high level of facility performance. Key Duties Performed by this position will include * Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Facility Operations Engineering Department, establishing the highest levels of performance for personnel and nuclear safety. Successful candidates will be persuasive communicators with exceptional organizational and time management skills. They must demonstrate the durable skills of continuous improvement, leadership, character, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, mindfulness, growth mindset, and fortitude. Additionally, customer service, confidentiality, integrity, and a commitment to university values in their activities. Must be available for reliable and consistent onsite work. Monday - Friday, 8AM to 5PM but will require work outside of this schedule as needed. This includes holidays and university closures Minimum Qualifications
A Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
* 2-4 years technical supervisory experience. Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 per year Community Information
