Effective 10/29/2024 Depending on experience of the selected candidate, this position will be hired at the IONM Technologist or Sr. IONM Technologist level. Under general supervision of a supervising neurophysiologist and lab manager, the Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Technologist/(IONM) Senior Technologist works under the direction of the physician neurophysiologist and other physicians in the hospital during complex and specialized surgical procedures, monitoring the nervous system to reduce or avoid complications. Responsibilities include performing recording and monitoring in a variety of cases including brain and brainstem procedures (i.e. for tumors (including language and motor brain mapping), orthopedic spine procedures (i.e. for scoliosis), and vascular surgery (i.e. for aneurysms); aiding in patient preparation, conducting IONM (protecting the nervous system) and following up to ensure quality of care. Additionally, the Senior IONM Technologist may provide support toinpatient EEG service for EEG and other evoked potentials, may train entry level technologists, serves as lead, assists in program operations and scheduling; perform other duties as assigned. All performance expectations associated with this position are to be performed at an expert level. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $118,223 - $147,058 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $56.62 - $70.43 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
