Sr Inspector

STV currently has an opening in its' NYC Office for aSenior Inspectorfor ourTransportation division to work on transportation projects in the New York Metropolitan Area.

Thecandidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a supervisory position on infrastructure construction projects street reconstruction/sewer/water main, etc. Candidate should have experience withand working knowledge ofNYCDDCpolicies, procedures, and specifications for City Reconstruction Contracts. Excellent written and verbal communication, organization and time management skills.

The Senior Inspector will work in the field staff (including monitoring budgets) for inspection of Trunk Water Mains, Sewers, Outfalls, Road construction; reviews the construction drawings, inspect construction activities, coordination construction with other public & private agencies; reviews and monitors the Contractor's for contract compliance; submit daily reports; serves as the Owner's on-site representative with the Contractor to coordinate and monitor matters of quality, schedule, cost, substantial conformance to the contract documents.

Required Experience:

• NICET III is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering a plus
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as senior inspector with RE experience working on roadway, utility rehabilitation construction projects
• Experience with NYCDDC required.
• Trunk Water Main, Sewer installation & Outfall construction experience is a plus.
• EIT or Professional Engineer (PE); registration in NYS is a plus
