Application Window Open date: January 31, 2025 Next review date: Thursday, Feb 20, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Rube Lab at University of California, Merced is looking for an ambitious Postdoctoral Scholar to carry out cutting-edge projects at the interface of computational and molecular biology. This research opportunity will be focused primarily on developing tightly integrated sequencing experiments and computational algorithms to characterize biomolecular interactions with high throughput. This contributes to a broader project that aims to gain a detailed biophysical understanding of how regulatory proteins recognize their genomic binding sites. The ideal candidate would have both extensive experience developing high-throughput experiments and possess strong computational skills, but candidates with a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This position will offer a unique opportunity to work in interdisciplinary team at the interface of experiment, big data, and statistical learning. Responsibilities of this position will include:
