Job Description
The Specialist - WHS Automation Parts will be responsible for the effective management of maintenance parts inventory across multiple automated warehouse locations. This position will ensure the availability of all necessary materials and parts needed to maintain production. The Specialist - WHS Parts will track inventory levels, determine efficient organization & storage methods, and proactively collaborate with maintenance teams to meet parts availability requirements. In addition to managing inventory levels, parts procurement and supplier relationships, this position will also play a key role in supporting scheduled inventory audits and maintaining preventive maintenance records.
What your day will look like:

- Maintains parts inventory accuracy
- Ensure consistency of parts and parts room layout
- Identify and ensure availability of long lead time/high frequency use parts
- Create strategic resource orbit for high-cost single inventory items
- Research cost and availability of parts to optimize spend and service
- Build and manage supplier relationships
- Generates purchase orders for locations based off system requisition
- Identify parts life cycle and ensure retrofit inventory availability where required
- Verifies receipts and proper storage locations of ordered parts
- Provides month end internal controls reports
- Maintains CONA/United parts list
- Conduct quarterly parts counts and generate reconciliations and adjustments in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Edit and create preventive maintenance tasks as needed
- Provide monthly reports on preventive maintenance completion and other internal control reports
- Create new hire profiles and train personnel on SAP functionality related to inventory management
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisors to determine required materials and supplies
- Support future automation system start-ups with initial inventory orders and parts room organization

What you need to succeed:
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or to 3-6 years related
- experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Knowledge of SAPrequired
- 3 to 6 years of experience in warehouse inventorypreferred
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
- Ability to work independently and to plan/organize
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Physical Requirements
Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program.
