The Warehouse Clerk supports the Purchasing Department by supporting the warehousing functions. Provides critical inventory control support coverage for the warehouse coordinator and assists with garment areas. Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving- Unloads received shipments from receiving area, verify counts and ensures all materials are placed correctly, safely and comply with fire codes. Shipping- Pulls orders and prepares for shipments, communicating changes in orders with operations; load materials on trucks. Carrier Scheduling- Schedules incoming deliveries and schedules carriers to pickup shipments. Inventory Data Entry-Enters all feedback for requisitions, picking feedback, and received merchandise into the inventory system; runs weekly reports to verify accuracy of input. Enters received product into inventory system. Receiving Reports- Writes receiving reports when shipping papers are missing with incoming deliveries. Pallet ID- Ensures that each pallet space is tagged with the correct item number and quantity. Pallet Repairs-Repairs or replaces damaged pallets and disposes unusable pallets. Inventory Verification- Routinely checks inventory and verifies accuracy. Spot checks inventory and communicates with Purchasing areas needing attention. Pallets-Combines pallets & pallet spaces to ensure efficient use of space. Equipment-Responsible to complete all pre-use forklift checklists and for daily maintenance of the equipment. Inventory Communications-Communicates with operations about about linen items and quantities. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED 2 years of previous warehouse experience All new hires are eligible for Bonuses. You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus. Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service. HCSC is an EEO Employer
