Our service area covers 64 counties and more than 500 communities including the greater St. Louis area Please note that one of the positions will have a reporting location of Berkeley, Dorsett, or Ameren HQ and the other will have a reporting location of Mackenzie, Geraldine, Lakeside, or Ameren HQ. Positions - 2 Hourly Range - 34.48 - 43.71 Revision Date - 9/12/14 Area/Division - 01/35 DUTIES: Under direct and intermittent supervision, to handle the management, leasing, licensing, and appraisal of real estate and property rights pertaining thereto; to assist in the acquisition and sale of real estate; to acquire easements and properties involving less complicated transactions; to examine title certificates, policies, or commitments and abstracts of title; to investigate and perform site analysis and make recommendations regarding same; to prepare legal instruments including but not limited to easements, contracts for purchase and sale, deeds, leases, licenses, permits, subordinations, releases, settlements, letter agreements and affidavits; to maintain working files, progress reports and permanent corporate records; to prepare valid legal descriptions; to read and comprehend engineering drawings, surveys, and plats; to consult with Company and outside attorneys and engineers regarding real estate matters; to testify and assist in the preparation of testimony before courts of law, municipal bodies, jurisdictional authorities and commissions; to hold as confidential, information related to all aspects of the foregoing; to operate a motor vehicle in connection with the foregoing; and to conduct any or all of the aforementioned activities in the field under varying conditions. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Economics, Engineering, Management or Real Estate, nine (9) hours of which must include prescribed real estate coursework such as Real Estate Fundamentals, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Law, and Real Estate Management. Additionally, up to three (3) of the nine (9) required hours can be in Land Surveying. Note: three (3) years of experience in non-residential real estate work may be substituted for the real estate coursework.
