Position Summary: The Desktop Support Administrator II role involves providing comprehensive support for end-user computing needs, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of desktop systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Desktop Support:
- Provide front-line support for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals for end users.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, network connectivity, and hardware.
- Install, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, and associated peripherals.
- Support the setup and maintenance of user accounts, email configurations, and system access.
- Manage software installations, updates, and patches.
- User Support and Training:
- Assist employees with IT-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Offer guidance and training on the use of standard software applications and tools.
- Maintain a knowledge base for common issues and solutions.
- System Administration:
- Assist in managing and maintaining IT systems, such as Active Directory, SharePoint, file servers, and cloud services (User permissions, user access maintenance).
- Ensure compliance with ConServe security policies and best practices.
- Asset Management:
- Track and manage hardware and software inventory.
- Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with other IT team members to ensure smooth operations across systems and networks.
- Maintain accurate documentation for troubleshooting steps, hardware configurations, and system setups.
- Participate in the creation of IT procedures and documentation
- Adherence to ConServe's Blueprint Quality Management System (QMS), Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program.
Non-Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Education:
- Associate's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Skills/ Requirements:
- Five (5) years of proven experience in desktop support or IT administration, preferably in a corporate or medium to large-scale environment.
- Experience in Accounts receivables industry strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, VPNs, network protocols, and remote desktop tools.
- Basic knowledge of system security and antivirus software.
- Ability to multitask, team player with a focus on results and fostering a partnership with the Business
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist and train users.
- Ability to travel between ConServe's offices as needed
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to provide on-call support on a rotating basis
U.S. Citizenship or lawful Permanent Resident alien with three or more years as a permanent resident in the United States.
- United States residency required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance
