Amplify is seeking a full-time Director, Strategy & Special Projects (Director, Strategy) with a background in and passion for supporting high performing executives and leadership teams, leading cross-department special projects, and supporting the overall development and efficacy of teams at scale. The Director, Strategy & Special Projects will work closely with the AVP, Strategy, People, and Special Projects, the Customer Experience EVP, and entire Customer Experience Leadership team to advance Amplify's strategic priorities within the Customer Experience department. The Director will play a critical role in driving cross-team initiatives, leveraging data to inform decision-making, and managing a portfolio of special projects to achieve department and company goals. Partner with the AVP, Strategy to provide input on departmental strategic priorities and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Support the AVP and EVP in defining annual and quarterly priorities, maintaining focus on execution, and tracking progress. Collaborate with CX team leaders to develop clear strategies and implementation plans for key initiatives. Assist with executive communications, including preparation for memos, decks, meetings, events, and presentations. Partner to ensure team communications are clear, consistent, and timely across multiple stakeholders. Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, ensuring decision-making is informed by insights and analytics.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Leadership
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance business objectives. Act as a connector across teams, identifying synergies and fostering collaboration to maximize impact. Lead cross-functional projects and workstreams, ensuring alignment, efficient execution, and measurable outcomes. Design and facilitate team processes to promote accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Special Projects & Operational Excellence
Manage a portfolio of special projects, defining scope, timeline, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Conduct discovery and root cause analysis to develop clear action plans and solutions for complex challenges. Develop and maintain reporting structures to provide visibility into project progress and outcomes. Lead and support change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and tools. Support the department in developing and maintaining frameworks for measuring impact and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience 15+ years of professional experience, with a track record of success in strategy, operations, or project management roles. Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to leverage data for decision-making. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on crafting high-quality memos and decks to synthesize information clearly and influencing diverse audiences to act or align. Experience managing cross-functional projects and teams, delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, navigate organizational dynamics, and influence without direct authority. Familiarity with performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness best practices.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Location: This position requires that Directors are permitted to work in the US, have residency in the US, and possess a valid US driver's license. If selected, a regional assignment will be issued, but you may be asked to travel throughout the country based on business needs. Travel: Travel is required and considered an essential function of the job. This role will require an average of 10% travel, up to 20% throughout the year. Travel includes overnight stays at hotels and transportation via car, plane, and/or public transportation. Equipment: This position requires reliable home internet that can support video calls on Google Meet and Zoom and a quiet, professional place to conduct meetings. Compensation and Benefits: The gross salary range for this role is $135,000-$165,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
