Job Summary: The Executive Assistant to President provides project, administrative, and clerical support to the President of Divine Savior Holy Angels (DSHA) High School and the DSHA Board of Directors to assist with achieving the goals of the school. Also interacts extensively with the internal and external high school community and with members of the Administrative Team, Strategic Council, Advancement Department and Board of Directors. In this role, the Executive Assistant to President is a key ambassador for DSHA and embraces and exhibits dedication to our mission to all our constituents. Compensation: Approx. $23-32/hour based on experience, plus competitive benefits package Responsibilities:
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Position requires a bachelor's degree and five to seven years of experience in a support role for a senior leader. Project management and event coordination experience are required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective oral and written communication skills are required. Evidence of sound and effective decision-making ability, discretion and strict adherence to confidentiality is necessary. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of people at all levels of the organization. The ability to stay focused in an area with frequent interruptions is required. Strong proficiency with MS Office is required, some database experience is required and familiarity with social media is preferred. High level of accuracy and strong writing skills are required. Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments is required. The ability to prioritize duties and to deal with stressful situations is required. Notary commission is strongly recommended. Must be available for occasional weekend and evening work. Access to reliable transportation is required. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
