Quantitative Researcher/Data Scientist

We are looking for a skilled Quantitative Researcher or Data Scientist to design and implement advanced models and strategies. This role offers a high degree of independence and the chance to work on challenging, impactful projects that merge finance, mathematics, and technology.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine quantitative models and trading strategies.
  • Perform deep statistical analysis on large datasets.
  • Design and enhance machine learning models for predictive analytics.
  • Work closely with software engineers to integrate and optimize strategies.
  • Conduct thorough backtesting and validation of models.
  • Help build and improve research infrastructure and tools.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in quantitative finance and machine learning.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 2-6 years of experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  • Strong experience handling large datasets and distributed computing.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Rust, Scala, C, C++, or Java.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience developing predictive models for decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Bayesian inference techniques.
  • Understanding of software development best practices and version control.
  • Experience managing the full lifecycle of data science projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., GCP, Kubernetes) for large-scale data analysis.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
