A Software Developer for Hardware Software Mapping job is available with our client in Scottsdale, AZ In this role you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) designing. developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining web applications built on the Django Python Framework using a Microsoft SQL Server database for data storage. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s Degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field plus a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US citizenship is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Develop and provide innovative and creative solutions to a variety of difficult problems of considerable scope and complexity, using established precedent and policies.
*Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
*Display initiative on assignments, exercise independent judgment and professionally execute projects with little direction.
*Work on complex problems of diverse scope or situations or data that requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
*Provide specific, detailed information for software and technology selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor"s Degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field plus a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.
*Candidates must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
*Key skills and technologies include: Web Developer with MS SQL Experience, The Django Python Framework, GitLab and Git for version control, and experience with HTML 5, HTMX, JavaScript, and CSS.
*Designing and developing with Information Security in mind.
*Capable of performing technical analysis in web application planning, engineering, and design.
*Python proficiency.
*Restful API Development.
*Problem solving and debugging.
