Conference and Event Planner, Senior

As a highly organized and experienced Senior Conference and Event Planner on our team at USINDOPACOM, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-level conferences and events that support USINDOPACOM's strategic objectives. You will plan, coordinate, and execute high-level conferences and events for USINDOPACOM, developing detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all event requirements are met and manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs. You will additionally oversee event registration, attendee communication, and on-site support for these events. You will ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures, evaluate the success of events, and provide recommendations for improvement. As a valued member of the USINDOPACOM staff, you will prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership.

Your actions will help advance command objectives by coordinating strategic engagement opportunities with federal or non-federal and local, national, or international entities, including other military organizations, government agencies, academic institutions, and think tanks. Additionally, you will coordinate requests and requirements for VIP visits and other special engagements. As a trusted advisor, you will prepare and present briefings, decision reports or information papers, and strategic communication products for executive-level leadership. Finally, you will monitor, track, and report national and state legislative congressional interest items, and collaborate in strategy development and implementation planning.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with engagement planning, staff coordination, logistics, or communication
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders to coordinate events and meetings
  • Experience interacting with or briefing senior executive stakeholders
  • Ability to manage high-priority tasks, meet deadlines, deliver under pressure, and pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Congress and Tier 0 stakeholders
  • Experience with the Navy or Combatant Commands
  • Experience with Indo-Pacific topics
  • Experience supporting various stakeholder engagements on projects, consulting, or implementing process improvement, change management, or strategic communications strategies
  • Experience applying fact-finding, analytical, and problem-solving methods and techniques
  • Ability to create talking points, information papers, and PowerPoint presentations, including corresponding to share facts and recommendations
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • Master's degree in Government and Politics, Political Science, or Liberal Studies

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements foraccess to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
