Position Summary |
This full time position requires responding to and addressing a highly dynamic scope of work, both routine and emergency in nature, for Campus Operations Evening Shift. Duties include, but are not limited to; Facilitating special events that includes set-up & tear down, housekeeping & sanitary requirements, responding to trouble calls and performing basic maintenance on
HVAC systems, air compressors, fire systems, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, locksmith, electronic locksmith (access control hardware), roof leaks, and snow removal. All of which requires a very broad base of knowledge due to the widely disparate nature of various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, Building Automation System (
BAS), Access Control Systems, Life Safety systems, after-hours responses, housekeeping & sanitary requirements, special events requirements, building and campus infrastructure security protocols, and residential dormitory support required on campus. |
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills |
The preferred candidate will have a high school diploma. Valid driver's license. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, electrical equipment and systems, and access control locksmith/hardware troubleshooting and maintenance. Prefer at least one to two years formal technical
HVAC training. Minimum of two years of experience in mechanical/electrical systems installation & repairs is preferred. |
