News interns at KCUR 89.3 produce broadcast and digital news stories in a real-world environment that prepares them for the future. Shift
This is a temporary, full-time, 40 hours per week internship position. Internships are non-benefit eligible. Session start and end dates may be negotiable, depending on the intern's circumstances, but training and other events are built according to the following schedule. Interns must embrace a commitment to thorough, behind-the-headlines coverage of the Kansas City metro by paying attention to news and current events. Anticipated Hiring Range
Internships pay $15 per hour and are non-benefit eligible positions. Interns may receive academic credit if an agreement is made between KCUR and the intern's college or university. Application Materials
