What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machine tools, spinning lathes, ovens, overhead cranes and various manufacturing equipment
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication and electricity.
- Understanding and ability to fabricate, machine parts and weld as needed to repair or upgrade machine tools, equipment or facility
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery includes tear down and replacement of defective parts, reassembly and readjustments.
- Assist outside contractors on overhaul and repair to machine tools, facility improvements and other projects.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on, motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulics, and production machines.
- Able to read and follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
- Works closely with Engineering and office staff to troubleshoot process and problems and give recommendations on new and existing products and machines
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.
- Operate Robotic cells as required
- Work in FanDuct Flow Line as required

- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following Company instructions;
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Tools, equipment and gauges are stored and maintained as defined by company standards
- Keeps work area clean and organized to company standards/expectations
- Daily cleaning and sweeping of work area, tools and equipment
- Empty of trash and waste as needed
- Personal items removed from work stations
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 5+ years proven experience as a manufacturing maintenance tech.

- Ability to read understand blueprint requirements and ability to interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
