Finance/Business Internship

Join our team at Great Lakes Management as our Finance/Business Intern! The Finance/Business Intern will assist the Business Systems Operations Manager with tasks such as account cleanup, managing billing details, and coordinating with case workers. Additionally, the intern will support the rollout of new software features, utilizing tools like Excel, Eldermark, and Realpage to enhance operations and assist our communities.

Job Details:

• Hours: Part-time, 20-29 hours per week
• Pay: $18 - $23 / hour
• Location: 12755 Highway 55, Plymouth, MN 55441 - Hybrid

Finance/Business Internship Responsibilities:

• Reconcile and resolve outstanding Accounts Receivable balances
• Support the implementation of new feature rollouts
• Communicate with case workers and navigate systems to track and obtain necessary authorizations
• Collaborate with Business Office Managers at various sites to enhance and streamline processes
• Assist the accounting team and Operations Manager with monthly financial closes
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Finance/Business Internship Qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong finance and billing background
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
• Detail oriented
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision (must be highly motivated and self-directed)

Working Hours:

Part-time, 20-29 hours/week. Remote work option available.
