Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the Energy Industry? Mansfield Energy is actively pursuing candidates for a Business Development Specialist as a part of their 2025, 12-month rotation program (Accelerating Cross Functional Talent - ACT). During this time, you will be guided through a combination of experiential learning, classroom-based training, and mentoring to prepare you for success in an organizational sales role. You will learn supply economics, freight logistics, and pricing analysis, all of which are critical to understanding how Mansfield operates. You will also get exposure to sales related processes through activities such as attending sales presentations, shadowing sales calls, and a sales related project.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will interview for different types of roles available within our Sales team. Those opportunities will provide challenging work and the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to the overall success of the organization as it pursues it's 50% growth goals in the next 3 years!

Responsibilities

Teamwork

  • Focus on overall goals and success, not just individual goals and success
  • Identify and partner with other employees that impact what we do and meet with them to coordinate action steps and solutions to business problems
  • Develop and implement effective communication systems and strategies within Mansfield Oil and with customers and suppliers to maximize teamwork and achieve high performance

  • Develop action plans to achieve vision, goals, and expectations for position
  • Identify and focus on the actions and steps that are within his/her control to achieve success

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent Mansfield experience, 1 year preferred

Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong leadership experience and ability to motivate others
  • Proven ability to use persuasion and influence
  • A basic level of technical skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, resourcefulness and strong desire to connect data to business solutions
  • Critical thinking required for analytical portions of the job and curiosity to help challenge the status quo
