Acquisition Portfolio Specialist, Senior

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your acquisition program management experience to provide strategic advice on systems acquisition programming and execution across a portfolio of C4ISR capabilities? As a DoD Acquisition Management Professional, you'll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. We're looking for someone like you to lead a team of experts and be a liaison to the government.

This is an opportunity to directly influence and impact on our country's defense acquisition process. As a DoD Acquisition Management Professional, you'll use your experience to apply the defense adaptive acquisition framework (AAF) to analyze, assess, and recommend adjustments to acquisition program documentation to facilitate acquisition executive milestone approval for program milestones. You'll build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including the Resource Sponsor, Requirements Officer, and Operational Test Authority to ensure successful program execution and obtain concurrence on an acquisition way-ahead. You'll track programmatic issues and risks to ensure they are addressed in acquisition documentation and assist with the development of status updates and briefs to leadership and external stakeholders. You'll operate with substantial latitude to lead decision analysis for addressing complex DoD acquisition and investment problems, providing recommendations and executing plans to optimize portfolio investments, and reducing enterprise risk. You'll be able to give back through mentor employees in both DoD decisions processes and technical competencies.

Are you ready to improve the processes that defend our nation?

Join us. The world can't wait.
