Advanced Operators Course Site Lead

The Opportunity:

As the Site Lead for the Advanced Operations Course, you're passionate about helping the team grow and develop cutting edge training in cyber operations. You know that each student thrives in their own, and learning styles vary. You will help our teamgrasp new methods and information to enable future operations, while mentoring and leading a full team ofcontent developersand engineers developing the course for our clients.

As the lead of our team, you'll help development and design training scenarios and cyber ranges for cyberspace operators through live audience and recorded instruction. You'll expand your technical expertise and industry knowledge and collaborate to devise creative solutions for mission-critical problems. In this role, you will be armed with the resources you need to excel, including hardware and software needed to meet customer requirements. You'll apply cyber operations analysis expertise to train operators on Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) processes and procedures. You'll develop training material and solutions to integrate the intelligence support to cyber operations function primarily in OCO.

In this role, you'll apply your knowledge and expertise to develop the team on advanced cyber operations and engineer ranges within PCTE, including experience in reverse engineering, Wireshark, and penetration testing to help design and troubleshoot new and advanced cyber ranges within PCTE. You'll analyze, develop, and integrate cyberspace operational tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) within PCTE ranges developed for training advanced cyber operations. You'll interface with both local and remote clients in the strategic design and implementation of this course to translate security and business requirements into training.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) or OCO
  • 2+ years of experience with the development, testing, management, operations, or training of networked hardware and software systems
  • Experience creating and configuring virtual hosts and networks using VMware in support of training content development or instructional scenarios
  • Experience with the development, deployment, operations, maintenance, training, or administration of Windows or Unix-based operating systems
  • Experience assessing student's understanding, skills, and abilities to gauge proficiency in the subject
  • Ability to translate complex concepts or data into graphically appealing and easy-to-understand presentations for a broad range of audiences
  • Ability to navigate in an ambiguous, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams
  • 5+ years of experience teaching cyberspace operations in a formal classroom setting with topics such as basic scripting, buffer overflows, fuzzing and mitigations, bypassing security techniques, application vulnerabilities and DLL injection, or concealing evidence, process hiding, and log cleaning
  • Experience developing training evaluation metrics
  • Knowledge of commonly used software-programming languages such as Python, PERL, or shell scripting
  • Ability to build consensus and effective cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to adapt content development and delivery to a variety of audiences
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational, project management, analytical, problem-solving, and client-management skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
