Director of Content Strategy - Global Digital & Performance Marketing We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team to build a content strategy program including refinements in process, taxonomy, operations, and content development. This role is pivotal in driving our brand's industry influence, shaping our positioning, amplifying our expertise and brand, and driving engagement through compelling content and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate in this role ensures that all content aligns with brand messaging, audience needs, and business goals. Reporting Relationships:

In this role you can expect to Key Accountabilities Refining Development of Content:
- Develop Content Frameworks: Creating templates, style guides, and content governance processes that ensure consistency and quality across platforms.
- Data-Driven Iteration: Using analytics and audience insights to identify which content types, formats, and messages resonate most, then refining development plans to focus on those.
- Cross-Channel Alignment: Ensuring that content efforts across different channels (social, web, email, etc.) are cohesive, delivering a unified message to users.
- Optimizing Content Workflow: Partner with the web content editing team to streamline how content is created, reviewed, and published, making the process more efficient for writers, designers, and content producers.
Content Planning & Development:
- Oversee the creation of high-impact, insightful content, including articles, whitepapers, reports, blog posts, videos, web pages, and other media formats to increase organic acquisition and showcase the company's expertise and forward-thinking approach.
- Leverage audience personas, buyer insights, and other data to develop deep understanding of customers and prospects and most resonant content to drive action.
- Create narratives for personas and ideal customer profile across the buying stages and build compelling content to drive customer engagement.
Content & SEO Strategy
- Define the content themes and pillars LHH should be known for by identifying broad content themes, key topics, and narratives that align with LHH's brand, values, and customer needs.
- Devise, implement, and iterate a comprehensive content and website SEO strategy aligned with LHH's vision, identifying key areas of expertise and opportunities for influence within the industry.
- Partner closely with digital & web strategy team on SEO implementation and web content enhancements that support LHH's content themes.
Research:
- Conduct research internally and externally (e.g., SMEs, surveys) to use in content creation and development of keyword targets.
- Manage external research providers to ensure reliable and high-quality output.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and platforms to identify new opportunities for content distribution.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, sales, and subject matter experts within the GBUs to gather insights, develop content ideas, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with communications and Thought Leadership to build relationships with industry influencers, and key stakeholders to expand the company's content footprint through speaking engagements, interviews, and other public appearances.
Podcast Management & Content Marketing:
- Manage the LHH-sponsored podcast Talk Talent to Me, market the episodes, and generate content as part of an overall strategic plan.
- Manage content marketing strategy and development, partnering with social media, paid media/advertising, product marketing/GTM, and digital & web strategy teams.
Blog Editorial Governance:
- Oversee the Insights Blog and work with stakeholders to adhere to best practices when generating or updating content with an emphasis on TOFU/SEO objectives.
- Maintain blog editorial calendar.
Brand Champion:
- Develop Editorial Guidelines based on the LHH Brand.
- Maintain and enforce the official guide for internal and external content creators.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand standards, values, and voice.
Campaign Management:
- Design and coordinate marketing campaigns centered around content, utilizing various channels and mediums to maximize reach and engagement.
- Partner with social media and paid media team members on unified campaign approach and measurement and reporting process.
Metrics and Analysis:
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of content strategy and SEO initiatives, leveraging data to refine strategies and continuously improve performance.
- Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to determine alignment with business objectives and analyze impact of campaigns.
Lead and Mentor:
- Coach a team of content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and support in an environment dedicated to professional growth and development.
- Function as a subject matter expert on content strategy, providing guidance and education to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement within the content strategy team.
All About You
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years in a marketing or content creation role, with a focus on thought leadership, organic acquisition, or content marketing.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, SEO, content strategy, and brand positioning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to craft and edit compelling and articulate content relevant in tone and style for different audiences and channels.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in CMS, Asana, analytics tools, and social media platforms.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- A visionary thinker with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Past industry experience in HR/Recruiting & Career Services is a big plus.
