Description

VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Logistician 2

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree


Experience:



  • Three (3) years of experience in integrated logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.


Additional Qualifications:



  • Experience in maintaining the configuration management database (CMPro) to ensure proper handling and tracking of all equipment associated with the programs to include Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP).
  • Experience with the integrated logistics process.
  • Ability to prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support.
  • Experience in developing, initiating, integrating and managing all logistics actions associated with the life-cycle management of weapons systems, subsystems and equipment.
  • Experience with creating and building Provisioning Parts List (PPL) and Technical Data Packages (TDP) for systems; providing them to Government Life-Cycle Logisticians and Equipment Specialists; and generating Supplemental Provisioning Technical Documentation (SPTD) in support all parts being provisioned.
  • Experience in generating and submitting Requests for Nomenclature (DD Forms 61) using the Joint Electronic Type Designation Automated System (JETDAS).
  • Experience creating and processing logistics custody documentation, (i.e., DD Forms 1149, DD Forms 1348, DD Forms 250, etc.)
  • Experience researching all part numbers, H6 part descriptions, national stock numbers (NSN) and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) codes for all component parts and systems as well as generating recommended Source, Maintenance and Recoverability (SMR) codes.
  • Ability to build fielding folders (consisting of SL-3s, scheduled maintenance procedures, Limited Technical Inspection (LTI) procedures, and packing lists) for systems being shipped out for fielding events.
  • Experience maintaining and inventorying all material and equipment, in various local locations, under NIWC Procurement contracts.


Job Description:

VNE is seeking a Logistician II to support the research and development, test and evaluation, documentation development, configuration management, integration, training, fielding and sustainment, and program management of United States Marine Corps Signals Intelligence programs

Essential Duties of the Job:



  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

  • While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
