Position Summary:

The Director, DSCSA Program role will have ownership and oversight of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) program for McKesson Third Party Logistics (3PL). They will provide overall leadership and direction to program activities while working with internal teams (Quality, Operations, IT & Product Management) to establish the vision, goals, and deliverables for the program. This role will partner with the product management team to interface with external clients as it relates to setup, troubleshooting and new feature development. The individual will be accountable for performance against defined metrics and work to take action with the support of other area leaders to ensure ongoing compliance and performance. The role will oversee a team of direct reports that will have responsibility for the assessment and response to DSCSA related inquiries from external parties. The individual will represent the organization during compliance audits as well as participating with industry peers at conference and other similar meetings/forums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and Lead Cross-Functional Governance for DSCSA Program. Work with area leaders to obtain updates on performance/deliverables and provide read-out to executive leadership on areas of concern/need. Maintain action items from governance program and ensure completion of tasks
  • Oversee the DSCSA exception management team and partner with product management team to ensure that client requests are handled in accordance with Federal Law. Maintain data analytics for track/trend purposes to identify potential emergent issues and/or where additional actions may be warranted
  • Liaise with Internal Area Leaders to review deliverables/issues/updates on topics pertinent to DSCSA and, where needed, prioritize organizational resources to ensure performance metrics are met. Assess operational impacts of DSCSA related system changes on warehouse operation
  • Partner with product management and implementation teams to ensure clients are supported on DSCSA deliverables/questions and/or as part of new client implementation projects
  • Attend/Participate in Industry Conferences/Workships/etc. to represent the organization as well as developing relationships with peers and staying apprised of potential industry changes

Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

  • Degree or equivalentexperience. Typically requires12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years ofmanagement experience.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Previous experience with DSCSA Adherence/Compliance and Program Management Highly Preferred
  • Detailed Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain (Wholesale/Manufacturing/Third Party Logistics) preferred.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $115,600 - $192,600
