About the Job

Responsibilities:

  • 10% Conduct and organize literature reviews; procure information relevant to research studies and other activities
  • 20% Assist with data analysis and manuscript preparation including contributing to coding and analysis of data
  • 10% Edit, compile references/works cited, and support submission of academic manuscripts
  • 10% Contribute to research publications, including reports and journal articles, and contribute to research-related presentations
  • 20% Provide assistance in the design of survey instruments such as questionnaires
  • 20% Support qualitative and quantitative data collection including patient interviewing
  • 10% Assist with the preparation and submission of research proposals and grant applications
Qualifications

All required qualifications must be documented on application materials

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree plus at least two year of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least six years.
  • Strong interest in family planning and reproductive health research
  • Commitment to equity - working to reduce disparities based on race, ethnicity, sovereignty, gender, sexual orientation/gender identity and socioeconomics.
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, deadlines and organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with social media, newsletter, blog and website platforms
  • Knowledge of software and technology - in particular, proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, audio/visual and conference calling technology
  • Motivated, self-starter who works well independently and also as an engaged team member
  • Ability and willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data management and analysis with programs (Redcap; R or STATA; Dedoose or Nvivo).
  • Proficiency in Zotero or other literature management system.
  • Quantitative and data analysis skills a plus; ability to present data effectively using graphs, charts and other formats.
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000/year; depending on education/qualifications/experience

Time Appointment: 75%-100% Appointment
