How can you make an impact?

The Senior Product Manager (Sr. PM) Medical Products is a seasoned individual contributor working as part of the Global Professional business unit. The Sr. PM is responsible for informing and executing the strategic vision and roadmap of a multi-platform product or multi-product line in alignment with the overarching business unit vision and strategy and managing a cross-functional relationships with multiple teams who focus on subsets of the multi-platform product/multi-product line.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States, preferably those who are in Eastern time zone. Up to 15% domestic travel is required, so preference will be given to candidates within commuting distance of a McGraw Hill office.

What can you expect from the position?

  • Strategic Thinking & Product Development: Define the vision and roadmap for two new multi-platform products. Collaborate with product leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and market opportunities. Partner with the medical education team lead to integrate new products into the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Communicate product growth, progress and key updates across departments. Align teams and collaborate to continuously improve workflows with engineering, content, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.
  • Market, Customer & User Research: Stay updated on trends in medical education and edtech. Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, focus groups, and prototype testing to gather valuable insights. Pitch product initiatives or validate direction based on collected information.
  • Metrics & Performance Tracking: Collect and analyze product analytics to track performance across multi-platform products. Establish core metrics and KPIs to demonstrate product-market fit and efficacy to leadership.

What can you bring to the role?

  • Professional Experience: Proven Product Manager with 3-5 years of experience managing two or more products concurrently and/or individually, preferably in medical, B2B, subscription-based, or multi-platform environments.
  • Data Fluency & Decision-Making: Skilled in using data to inform prioritization, product decisions, and strategy. Proficient with analytics and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI and experienced in analyzing data and multiple inputs to make sound, evidence-based decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability of effectively managing cross-level communication with engineering, technical teams, and business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset to develop, pitch, and execute product initiatives aligned with business goals. Proficient in reporting progress and engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Customer and User Focus: Demonstrated ability to prioritize user needs and deliver value-driven solutions that enhance user experience and meet customer objectives.
  • Agile Expertise & Operations: Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle, Agile processes, and identifying operational improvement opportunities.
  • Financial Acumen: Focused on balancing quality, delivery, and budget while driving value and prioritizing benefits.

The pay range for this position is between $108,175 - $115,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
