Lead
Production Associate

A Process Technician Lead ensures the consistent production of high-quality products and assists the Production Supervisor in maintaining Safety, Health, Quality, and Sanitation standards. This role demands a zero-tolerance approach to any deviations from these standards.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Arrive at work on or before the scheduled start time to review daily duties.
• Accurately account for all labor and operational supplies and complete documentation to meet Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements.
• Support production and sanitation roles as needed on a daily basis.
• Wear personal protective equipment and appropriate uniform/clothing per GMPs and company standards.
• Ensure the safe and proper use of tools and equipment, maintain hand tools, and store/dispose of chemicals in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments to optimize non-running time for equipment maintenance.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including lockout/tag-out, electrical safety, and confined spaces protocols.
• Ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the SQF (Safe Quality Food) system.
• Report and act on food safety and food quality issues to prevent problems.
• Follow and enforce the procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan (Level III) and support the SQF system and third-party audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

What We Need From You:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to comprehend label instructions, MSDS, and other safety warnings.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation principles in a food processing facility, including FDA, USDA, and EPA standards (preferred).
• Ability to effectively assist the Production Supervisor in leading the Production department daily.
• Physical ability to frequently stand, stoop, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
