The Opportunity We are seeking a Lead Logistics Specialist who will oversee daily materials logistics operations within a cGMP environment. This position provides frontline leadership to Operators, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. The role also collaborates with the department Manager to drive operational improvements and represents the department in relevant meetings. What You'll Do 1. Daily Operations Leadership
Direct Operators in tasks such as order validation, shipping, warehousing, and inventory management Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements, including serialization tracking Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction Enable smooth process flow by evaluating and allocating labor Collaborating with other Leads and Managers daily to maintain service levels cross-departmentally
2. Team Development & Supervision
Nurture a Continuous Improvement culture driven by employee feedback and input Assist in selecting, training, and evaluating team members Promote the consistent application of industry and corporate standards across all activities Provide guidance and training to Operators on their responsibilities and processes
3. Safety & Compliance
Process deviation record management and supporting timely closures Ensure compliance to Quality Management Systems Foster a safe work environment by adhering to cGMP and safety regulations Conduct functionality and safety checks on equipment, such as forklifts Escalate compliance, safety, and HR-related issues to management as needed

Pick and pack marketed products according to shipping orders with accuracy Move products and supplies using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual labor Review and update procedural documentation to ensure compliance Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records Perform data entry with precision in various databases Maintain a clean and organized work environment Support projects, including process analysis and documentation Initiate and propose enhancements for safety, compliance, and efficiency
Who You Are
You have a BA/BS in Life or Physical Sciences preferred and experience in shipping, receiving or warehousing OR a High School Diploma and 5-7 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing. Preference is for experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry You have warehouse management systems experience (SAP) You have demonstrated leadership capabilities You have knowledge of inventory management principles You have strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills You have a proficiency in PC applications and business operations software You are able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods You have a valid driver's license with a good driving record Experience with Lean Six Sigma (LSS) or Continuous Improvement (CI) certification preferred

Ability to work overtime as required Consistent use of safety equipment and adherence to safety protocol Support training initiatives for personnel on safety and process procedures
Relocation Funding is not available for this role. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Louisville, KY is $41,200 - $76,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
