What You'll Do:

Support Youth in Crisis: Coordinate after-hours, immediate crisis intervention to youth ages 9-17 who access Alba's emergency shelter program
Respond to Youth Needs: This includes mobile response in community and across sites, assessment and safety planning, intake and emergency housing placement, de-escalation, and individualized support.
Empower Through Advocacy: Help young people navigate complex systems, access resources, collaborate and coordinate with other providers, and make informed decisions about their own recovery journey.
* Provide Program Operation Support: Coordinate coverage across sites, training, inventory and stock for program supply, medication management, safety protocol management, other administrative tasks as assigned.

Document the Journey: Maintain and review client and financial records with a focus on accuracy and timeliness, ensuring that our programs have the data they need to thrive and continue serving those who need it most.

Qualifications:

Desire to work with multicultural staff and youth in a diverse setting.
Proven ability and commitment to working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ youth, staff, and community members as well as other providers, particularly with understanding of Trauma-Informed Care, Positive Youth Development and Strength-Based approaches.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including detail-oriented coordination and documentation.
Must have access to an automobile, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance.
Must be willing to be CPR trained and certified, as well as maintain a Food Handler's Card.
A minimum two years working with high-risk youth and families, crisis intervention experience preferred
Must have significant work and life experience OR a college degree in social work, psychology or related human services field
Bilingual (English/Spanish speaking) candidates preferred
